Si te protege de los mosquitos ¡yo quiero uno!
Hace un par de años había unos brochecitos electrónicos para proteger a los bebés de los mosquitos. Costaban unos 25 $ o U$S, no me acuerdo. Y necesitabas 2 o 3 para una persona adulta (no tendrían mucho alcance). No sé si funcionaban realmente. Claro que si además te refuerzan el sistema inmune y se basan en la física cuántica es razonble que el precio se multiplique!!!! 😆

Deben ser unos novatos estos de Pawtect. La regla de oro de los chantas es no usar todas las pseudociencias juntas de una sola vez, siempre hay que guardarse al menos una para la próxima estafa.
Deepak Chopra, indignado, dijo que los va a demandar por hacer mal uso de la Física Cuántica.

Pregunté en su página de facebook si tenían evidencia de que su producto funcionara. Esto fue lo que pasó. Les mandé un mail pidiéndoles algún link; todavía estoy esperando.

I am being persistent with the designers of the technology to carry out such a trial and it is possible they may concede. I value the testimonials and would like to have a trial underway.
Given your location it is unlikely we could arrange a trial involving yourself but if you have a genuine interest in the product I am happy to converse further.

Le mandé un mail preguntándole expresamente eso («So just to make it clear, apart from anecdotal evidence and testimonials, is there any other evidence to support the effectiveness of Pawtect?»). Cuando reciba una respuesta les comento.

Es decir, la gente compra aún más cuando saben que les estan metiendo el perro que cuando simplemente las engañan y no se dan cuenta??? Realmente me da pocas esperanzas por la supervivencia de la humanidad.
EDIT: Esto es lo que pude encontrar referido a ese comentario del periodista, el mismo que escribió este artículo que vale la pena leer.

A lo que se refiere es que el científico diciendo que es basura le dio publicidad al producto. Yo pensaba escribir un post pero al ver que su página en facebook no tiene más de 170 «likes», me parece que a esta altura sería darle publicidad al pedo (tampoco que el CEA tenga taaanto tráfico, pero igual)
Lo de «This raised every red flag of being bollocks» viene del autor de este blog que fue entrevistado para un artículo de una revista neozelandesa llamada Sunday Star Times. Según dice, lo citaron diciendo «This raised every red flag of being bollocks. When you read it, it is just a load of nonsense».
En su post específico sobre el producto linkea a una página, ya muerta, que vendía la versión yanki. El nombre más genérico (aunque sigue siendo una marca, me parece) es YCTinside®. En esa página, archivada en WayBackMachine dice cosas similares pero tiene un disclaimer muy interesante: «None of the following statements, information or claims on this website have been evaluated by the FDA or EPA. Total Tag is not to be considered a diagnostic tool, a treatment, cure or preventative device for any disease or symptom. «
Esta es una advertencia que obviamente tienen que poner para cumplir con las regulaciones de la FDA, pero es algo interesante para echarle en cara a esta tal Sonja. Cuando me responda el mail, si es que lo hace, le voy a preguntar por este sitio web.
