1. No one is completely «rational» in the sense of a proper 24/7 bayesian calculator. We are people, have aims, needs, etc… It’s not so black & white -it’s a continuum.

2. If the subject claims to be a proper sceptic, then after «conversion» turns true «believer in the unbelievable», then evidently the subject didn’t really have a solid footing to begin with (i.e. objective stance, critical reasoning skills, etc…)
